Courses

Our courses cover a wide range of subjects, research sources and topics of interest and are open to all. Beginners' courses are suitable for those who have just started to trace a family history or who wish to refresh their memories in the basic sources. Courses covering several advanced topics are available for students who have basic knowledge of genealogy. Opportunities to gain practical experience are provided where possible and both online and original sources are discussed. All the courses are taught by our experienced tutors and members of staff. For some courses, experts in particular areas of research will be invited to lecture.
