Catholic Marriage and Baptism Index

(2003)

Mini CD. Compiled by Fr. Godfrey Anstruther the index covers 30,000 marriages, chiefly for London and Essex from the mid 18th century to the 1870's. Arranged in chronological order with a separate surname index for brides and grooms. The Catholic Baptisms Index covers the period 1797 to 1888, chiefly adult baptisms for London & Essex. The index was donated to the Institute and filmed and produced by the Parish Register Transcription society.
