The event is sponsored by The Genealogist and one lucky attendee will receive a one-year's Diamond Subscription to The Genealogist, www.thegenealogist.co.uk .
Trafalgar, presented by Les Mitchinson. Les will use Admiralty Department (ADM) records to describe Nelson’s finest hour and is giving it on the anniversary of the battle, Trafalgar Day, October 21st 1805. He will use material that record a man’s naval service, records that catalogue the injuries men (and boys) sustained that day and the first-hand account of ships’ captains and masters. The talk will also include tips on how to trace a naval officer who was present at the battle but for whom no personal service records exist.
Our online tutorials provide guidance on a broad range of topics. They are open to everyone.
