Using Maps
Les will describe a selection of maps that are readily accessible in a county archive or available to you online. Records that include OS maps, IHGS parish maps, estate, enclosure and tithe maps. Les will describe how a series of maps can show the development of a particular location, a specific property or enable you to track down individuals. In particular he will explain the association between enclosure and tithe maps.
Our online tutorials provide guidance on a broad range of topics. They are open to everyone.
In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. On the day of the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.
Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions. The talk will last approximately an hour.
