Weekend Course - Taking Your Family History Research Further

Friday 1st December 2017 - Sunday 3rd December 2017

These weekend courses are structured around the Correspondence Course syllabus. Originally designed for students on the course they are now available to all and are a great opportunity to learn about new topics, obtain research advice and meet fellow family historians and course tutors and use the library facilities. The course is to be held at The Institute in Canterbury.

11.00 am Advanced Palaeography - Tutorial in deciphering handwriting in old documents essential for progress back to the 17th century

7.00 pm Open forum


9.30 am Free- An opportunity for discussion with experts, making more use of the library, or visiting the Cathedral
