Antony Marr- On the Authority of the Registrar General
Wednesday 21 April at 10am or Wednesday 28 April at 2pm.
Many records of civil registration are annotated with amendments and corrections – this talk will look at the little understood and complex rules of re-registration, corrections and other registrations amended by approval of the office of the Registrar General, and how such records can be used to explain family mysteries and break down those brick walls.
Antony Marr is a professional genealogist and Chair of AGRA. He is a retired police officer and also served as a Deputy Registrar. He lectures on Crime and Punishment and Civil Registration, where his time as a deputy registrar has promoted his especial knowledge of the records of civil registration.
The cost is £10.
