Wills Indexes

Wills are of the greatest importance to the genealogist. They are the principal and often the only records by which families in the middling classes of life can trace their antecedents.

The will indexes are on open access. A postal search can be carried out by a member of staff and is charged at the library search rate of £20.00 per half hour. Quotes can be given to obtain copies of the wills from the appropriate record office.
