We are very pleased to announce that Pollyanna Bristol-Murphy, DipGen, is joining the tutorial team of IHGS. Pollyanna graduated in 1991 from the London School of Economics (LSE) with a BSc Econ (Economic History), followed by a career in the advertising industry managing film shoots. She has spent the last five years developing her career as a professional genealogist and historical researcher. Pollyanna is passionate about social history and has been a researcher for over fifteen years. Initially, she focused on her own family, but now helps others to extend their research and knock down brick walls. Originally a Londoner, and currently based in the West Country, Pollyanna spends much of her time in the local archives. She is a graduate of the Institute, gaining the Higher Certificate in 2020 followed by the Diploma in Genealogy in 2021.
We are looking forward to working with her.
