Susan Moore will be giving her talk ‘Family Feuds in Chancery Records’
Chancery records at The National Archives are a wonderful resource. They cover diverse subject matter, such as family inheritance and wills, land and other property, debts, marriage settlements, apprenticeships, trade and bankruptcy. Thereby providing a rich and invaluable resource for family historians.
Since 1974 Susan has spent her working life researhing the records of the Equity Courts and is one of the foremost authorities on the subject. She has also written two books on Equity Court Records and recently provided a major input in the review of the Legal Records lecture of our Correspondence Course.
Our online tutorials provide guidance on a broad range of topics. They are open to everyone.
In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. On the day of the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.
Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions. The talk will last approximately an hour.
