Heraldic Research #3: Using heraldic sources in heraldic and genealogical research, including specialist collections

This revised and updated tutorial, the third of the Heraldic Research series, shows the use of sources in heraldic and genealogy research, including specialist collections.  Some challenges and anomalies in heraldic research will also be considered, through new and revised Case Studies.

Open to all the tutorials will be of interest to those on the IHGS Heraldry course, studying for heraldry exams, the IHGS Diploma, as well as those with some experience in heraldry or who have attended previous tutorials.

In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. On the day of the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.

Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions. The talk will last approximately an hour.
