IHGS Heraldic Challenge September 2024

Tuesday 27th August 2024

IHGS Heraldic Challenge September 2024.

This month’s challenge will call for the use of an Ordinary of Armorials with which many of you will be familiar. As ever, the task is straightforward; simply locate the surnames associated with each of the coats of arms blazoned below (as they appear in the Armorial) and then identify the common connection – noting the slight anomaly.

Entries should be submitted to Chris Broom (ihgstutorchris@gmail.com) by 30th September 2024. The winner will enjoy free entry to an IHGS tutorial of their choice.
