MILITARY RECORDS – OUR ANCESTORS IN CONFLICT – GUEST SPEAKER SIMON FOWLER

A full-day event at - IHGS Petersfield Hub on Wednesday the 11th November. Simon Fowler will join Les Mitchinson on Remembrance Day to discuss Military Records – Our Ancestors in Conflict.   Simon has written numerous books on a wide-range of family history subjects including Tracing your Army Ancestors and Tracing your Naval Ancestors. Simon also spent almost 20 years working at The National Archives.  Simon will concentrate on Army records and Les will present on the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Air Force.  The cost of the event is £50 and bookings should be made directly with Les Mitchinson on education@ihgs.ac.uk.
