Exploring Your Ancestors' Parish Church and Churchyard, presented by Celia Heritage.    Celia will take you on a trip round the parish church and churchyard, helping you to learn, observe and appreciate many different aspects of the sacred place which was the centre of our ancestors' lives in so many different ways for so many centuries. She will also take a look at the types of graves you can expect your ancestors to have been buried in, taking a look underground in both the churchyard and the church itself -- and finally she will show you just how gravestones can go missing!

Our online tutorials provide guidance on a broad range of topics. They are open to everyone.

In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. On the day of the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.

Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions. The talk will last approximately an hour.
