The tutorial will be held in two parts on Tuesday 19th and 26th January at 10am and costs £20.       

The module will cover the key components that comprise a research task report and offer tips on how to manage a research task.   The module is aimed at those seeking to work as a professional, to gain membership of AGRA and/or aiming for the IHGS Diploma in Genealogy.  

Subjects that will be covered are:

Accurately documenting a research task

Sourcing your work

The format of a report

Use of illustrations/enclosures/transcripts

Recommendations for further research

Production of a pedigree chart

Client relationship

Keeping to the client’s wishes – knowing when to stop

Invoicing

In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. On the day of the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.

Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions. The talk will last approximately an hour.
