In what promises to be a highly informative and engaging session, Peter O’Donoghue, current York Herald at the College of Arms, will deliver a talk about the origins and development of heraldry, including an overview of the College of Arms and the function of the various Officers of Arms. This event will take place ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III, so attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about the important part to be played by the Officers of Arms on this historic occasion.

Our online tutorials provide guidance on a broad range of topics. They are open to everyone.

In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. On the day of the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.

Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions. The talk will last approximately an hour.

The numbers are limited. If the bookings are full, please contact the registrar@ihgs.ac.uk as new dates will be added.
