Two episodes of the BBC's latest series of Who Do You Think You Are? have now aired, and are proving to be emotional viewing. Last night's episode featured Welsh dancer Amy Dowden, who discovered a terrible accident that occurred in the 1880s when a young girl was killed by a loaded gun discharging. On the other side of her family, the family faced difficult times whilst employed in the mining industry in the early 1920s. Mining was also a feature of Zoe Ball's ancestral journey, which took her from Cornwall to the North-East whilst tracking down her ancestors.
